Hands of El-Roi Charity Foundation exists so that no vulnerable child, woman or elder is invisible to the people who could help.
Our story
Where we started
Hands of El-Roi began with a small group of volunteers responding to a single question in their own neighbourhood: who is being missed? The answer was families whose children had quietly stopped attending school, elderly people living alone without medication, and women with a trade but no capital.
What started as monthly food distribution grew into structured programmes with enrolment records, termly reviews and published results. Today the foundation runs five focus areas across education, healthcare, empowerment, elder care and emergency relief.
We work with partner schools, clinics, community leaders and faith organisations, and we serve on the basis of need alone — never faith, tribe, gender or politics. Our name, El-Roi, means “The God Who Sees Me.” It is both our conviction and our standard.
