Our reports include the programmes that underperformed. That is deliberate.

A report that contains only wins is a brochure. Ours includes the food distribution route we cancelled, the school partnership that did not hold, and the two months our response time slipped past target.

Publishing the misses is not humility for its own sake. It is the only way a donor can tell the difference between a programme that is being managed and one that is being marketed.
